Installation is a breeze, with the strike fastening into the jamb and door frame using screws. Some mortising and pilot hole drilling may be necessary for a flush install. The slightly taller latch and bolt openings accommodate door hardware spaced from 5-1/2 inch to 6-inch hole centers. For installation, it's best to pilot drill a hole for the 3-inch long screws and use a hand-operated screwdriver.
